Thurrock International Celebration of Culture

To design and develop the brand for a new community event within the borough which includes all visual marketing and advertising, social media implementation and a website showcasing the events in the borough.

Our Approach

The festival is young and action packed and so the identity needed to reflect this. It also had to give a reference to the area. Initially our logo approach was focused around bees due to the presence of the rare Carder Mining Bee found on the local marshes and their representation of a hard working community focused species. But for the core identity graphic we felt this was too much so we used a graphical sunrise, but still managed to incorporate the bee graphic into the core marketing materials.

The Website and Social Media

Continuing our long term relationship with Expression Engine we developed the website using the latest version with custom calendar functionality, social media channel setup and various entry forms. As registrations increase and content begins to be generated expect to see this site grow with some great photography based around the events.
