Maurice Sendaks classic book comes to life with Spike Jonze at the Helm and James “Tony Soprano” Gandolfini starring. How can it fail. The trailer looks fantastic.

Unfortunately the same can’t be said for Tarantinos latest effort “Inglourious Basterds” (and yes it is spelt like that ) .It looks like its squarely aimed at the 14 - 17 year old spotty teenage boy with Brad Pitt hamming it up and lots of over the top torture and violence on the cards. Tarantino jumped the shark with Kill Bill Vol 2 and peaked with Jackie Brown. Time to give up methinks.
