Our server move is in progress…. Finished.

By the 30th August our move to the new hosting server will be complete, some sites have already moved across (including the pixelwork site), so there may be a few bugs along the way, we’ve tried to minimise these as much as possible by testing all the sites but if you come across something let us know (hosting@pixelwork.com). 

We’ll be updating all of our clients in the next week or so of the benefits of this new system and the security and speed enhancements that we have built in to it.

The server movie is finished and pretty seamless,now we’ve got a great system with killer enhancements - all the sites now site behind a PHP accelerator that not only caches pages for faster loading but also has an array of security built into it . So not only do our sites sit behind a robust firewall, a new server hosting infrastructure but now also really powerful security features including protection against flood attacks, DoS (Denial of Service attacks - a common method for hackers), alongside protection against application attacks.
