Generally video games with movie tie ins are often turkeys and just an excuse for a bit of brand extension and money making. The problem is anyone who knows computer games knows that these movies are always rubbish (try and name a decent movie tie-in, even the much hyped Matrix games were pretty dire).

But this approach, combining the original Indy movies and Lego (who’d of thought ?) really works ! Its actually laugh-out-loud funny and if you’re a big fan of the original movies (which I am) then the little details you’ll notice in the Lego cut scenes show that the makers held a genuine affection for the movies…

Despite a few bugs in the dual player mode which make getting through the story impossible, overall this is a great game, really well thought out and if you love the movies then an absolute must…
