HDR Photography

Thanks to Fiaz at Next Big Leap for revitalising my interest in photography by introducing me to the peculiarities of HDR photography.

Having taken a break from photography due to a lack of excitement with the whole digital scene this is a technique thats once again fuelled my photographic creativity.

For me its a great combination, I love 3D design and animation and with HDR this lets me renew my passion for photography by combining old school photography and composition techniques with a hyper-realistic render style approach to post-producing the imagery.

Its a very simple technique thats been around for years but its lots of fun experimenting and playing with and I’m looking forward to doing a lot more of this in the near future. I’m still experimenting at the moment and have a long way to go to really get a handle on it but you can keep up-to-date on our Flickr group :
