Ampro

The Ampro brand is a re-imagineering of an established boxing equipment and supplies brand with an incredible history. The brand played a key part in the visit by Mohammed Ali to London in 1963 to fight Henry Cooper and there are a series of images of his time training in London wearing the Ampro brand.

Sadly the brand closed it’s doors in the eighties but the new owners saw the potential in the brand , have thrown their industry weight behind it and are re-establishing it as a leading competitor to some of the more established names in the boxing industry.

This video was the result of following a photoshoot of the new products and the new era of Ampro sponsored fighters. We felt the history of the brand has such a huge influence over its future success that introducing its heritage and then following this up with its re-emergence on the scene would be a great approach to get people excited by its revival, so we used the Ali imagery, some archival sound files of the fight footage then a new soundtrack and animated 3D logo for the new era of the brand.
